One year ago today, We the Veterans started Vet the Vote. In just a year, we accomplished so much. We're thrilled to celebrate our anniversary with a message from New Hampshire's Secretary of State, David M. Scanlan, encouraging veterans and military family members from New Hampshire to be part of Vet the Vote. While he's speaking directly to his constituents, we feel his words hold true for our community across the country.
In the words of Secretary Scanlan, "The public looks up to and respects veterans like you. Serving in a polling place would set a great example for others to follow. You would also see firsthand how elections in New Hampshire are run and why the Granite State has one of the highest voter turnout rates in the country."
